주님이 주신 비전이나 부르심에 대한 깨달음이 없이 주님의 일을 하는 것이 오히려 쉬울 것이다. 당신은 주님께서 정말 필요로하시는 것이 무엇인가를 고민하며 괴로워하지 않아도 되기 때문이다. 단지 기독교적인 “감정”으로 포장된 상식(기독교적인 감정이라고 애써 우겨보지만 결국은 세상 사람들도 모두 알고 있고 또 그것에 근거하여 행동하는 “상식”에 불과할뿐)이 당신을 인도하게 될것이다. 주님의 부르심을 깨닫지 못한다면 당신은 세상적인 시야로 볼 때 더 번성하고 성공적인 인생을 살 수 있을지도 모르며 더 많은 여가시간을 즐길 수도 있을 것이다. 그러나 예수그리스도의 지상사명을 깨닫는 순간부터 언제 어디에 있든지 주님께서 주신 그 사명이 당신을 몰고갈 것이다. – 이춘식 역
